we had a great stay at hofbrau riverfront. the king room with spa was newly updated, featuring a large screen tv and beautiful laminate wood flooring. the hotel’s location is unbeatable, right on the river and just steps from everything we wanted to see and do.

the pool was not open during our visit.

It was just a great fit for a temporary stay in Helen with very good value for money. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean, which made for a decent night. Avoid room 304 if you can, as the electric outlets were dangerous.

Consider bringing your own cleaning supplies for added comfort and peace of mind during your stay.

The room was a bit of a mess when we arrived. Dirty floors and hair on the pillows hit us right away. There was nowhere to hang our clothes, which was super annoying. Even after switching rooms, we found more hair and a dirty toilet. Fresh sheets did come eventually, but the floors were still gross. Not what I expected for the price.

Our family enjoyed a fantastic stay at this cozy hotel. The location was unbeatable, right by the river with easy access to hiking trails and local shops. The kids loved the playground and we had a great time tubing on the water, making memories to cherish.

My wife says that the check-in process was a bit chaotic. It would be great to have more staff available to assist families with kids during busy times.
